Llanddwyn Astrophotography Workshop | September 1st 2018


Join us for a night of adventure. Learn how to capture the night sky. In this workshop we will cover all the skills you'll need to capture a life worth of Nightscapes & Adventures. 

The workshop will be lead by Photographer Gareth Mon Jones.

What we will cover:

✓Planning your trips
✓Milkyway Tracking

From the Tutor:

The night will start at the car park and we will walk onto Llanddwyn island and get set up ready for the milkyway. All under my guidance helpingand answering your questions and giving tips ...

This kind of workshop is dependent upon the weather. The workshop will go ahead even if its over cast as we still can have a good night of Photography by doing some light painting . 

There is an optional extra the day after in editing your best shots in my studio with tips and tricks into how to get the best out of your photos. Details will be sent out to all attendees.

What you'll need to bring:

  • Camera (That supports Bulb Mode)

  • Wide Angle Lens (Ideally with an aperture of 2.8 or faster)

  • Tripod

  • Head Torch

  • Spare Battery

  • Warm Clothes

  • Shutter Release Cable

Finish Time: Late (You may of course, leave when you wish)

Physical Requirements: 
There will be a reasonable amount of walking involved over mostly flat ground.
